Hello.

I have an IPB 1.3 board on a host, and I wanted to make expandable categories. I know that there is a JS on MyBB for that.

I was wondering if I was allowed to use the MyBB JS, providing I gave a copyright and link back to MyBB in the source code?
I think that would be fine. But wait for Chris' answer please
Just use this code: http://lists.evolt.org/archive/Week-of-M...16151.html
And change agent99 to whatever the name of the div it.
That will change the div's visibility.
As long as it falls in line with our license: http://mybboard.net/about/license

Also, some of the libraries we use are Open Source. You can look into those too.
Alright, thanks Tikitiki Wink
Considering this section:

Licnse Wrote:Separation of Components
The MyBB software is licensed as a single product. Components, parts or any code may not be separated from the original MyBB package for either personal use or inclusion in other applications.

How can it falls in line with MyBB license?

I was wondering the same thing. Although that may be one of the open source parts thus it has its own license?
If it has its own license we don't need to ask permission from mybb....

So the section that I quoted before is the final word?

Sad
Expandable categories is not a separable component.
