my forum(Look torwards the bottom of the page for the chinese section) I have a chinese section and after I messed up my database and had to use a backup and I accidentally Imported with a latin charset, so I converted everything to utf8. But the letters are still not showing correctly.
did you edited config.php after this?
there is a commented line by default about "UTF-8" somewhere
//$config['db_encoding'] = 'utf8';
There's no line like that in the config file.
Any help?
You need to convert your forum to UTF-8, but you do require to make some changes to config.php

Once you've done everything there, go to your AdminCP, go to Tools and Maintenance, and then to UTF-8 Conversion on the right side.
It is in utf8 and I have done that but it still doesn't show right.
