I'm just curious as I want a site that deducts post count. But when I upgrade will it result in the post count being recounted? Or at any point will it result in me needing to recount posts?
What do you mean "deducts post count"? If you recount then ugh...yeah..it gets recounted.

The only option I can tell you is to manage your forums and remove the post count for that particular forum then recount. But I don't know if that's what you mean.
What I was wondering is if I deduct post count from a member of my forum. If there will be a time for instance during an upgrade of MyBB in which it will cause the post count of each member to be recounted.
Oh yes... recount will undo any manual changes.
Does the upgrade process automatically recount threads/posts?
