I'm just curious as I want a site that deducts post count. But when I upgrade will it result in the post count being recounted? Or at any point will it result in me needing to recount posts?

Also I was wondering how come the portal can never be set-up by being enabled? Instead of having to edit the index for the portal to be the index.

Off the top of my head, I don't believe there's a place in the upgrader where the posts need to be recounted.

The portal is always enabled, and accessible at http://www.yoursite.com/yourforum/portal.php

I just meant that it would be nice if in the portal settings you could automatically set the portal to be the home page of the website.

As for the posts, I was just wondering as if they happened to get recounted in part of the process then it could become a mess. haha
