MyBB 1.4 ?
Just wondering if the merge system is available for 1.4 ?
or should i do this ?:
install 1.2.x > merge phpbb3 to 1.2.x > upgrade to 1.4
Well, I think currently Merge system only supports MyBB 1.2.x series. SO just do is phpBB3 -> MyBB 1.2.x -> MyBB 1.4.0

you will have to have one of the 1.2 forums then convert to mybb from phpBB then update to 1.4 this the only way you could do this for now till the convert is updated
eg if you dont have mybb yet get the files before mybb 1.4 then use the converter with that then update to 1.4
The Merge System for 1.4 will be out in the following weeks. We have to go through and test it to make sure it works still (our developers are working on that)
You can still obtain MyBB 1.2 for the merge system and then upgrade to 1.4 after that as a temporary solution.
