Now I saw that some users from here have them Forums using portal.php with redirection through .htaccess - then I´ll use it too
- www.mysite.com/forum/ > goes to portal.php
- www.mysite.com/forum/index.php > goes to normal Index
But then Portal.php is a little limited, using a single Board like its "source". The cool thing could be show any thread from any Forums I liked to.
So my Idea of Plugin is a Moderador/Admin Choose directly in the "Edit Post" with a box if that particular Thread will be Shown in Portal...
In Vbulletin and IPB you can make this, but I dont know if it´s a plugin or is a default feature
