Hi there , I am totally new to this forum setup. so need help as a noob

I have a few servers running with hosting and want to add now forums to my own server and clients that host with me websites

Where do I start?
My current websites I have run some on helm (windows) and some on C panel (unix)
I have FrontPage extensions installed on al my sites, because I know a little bit about FrontPage and post my clients websites with FrontPage and Filezilla
Where do I start with the installation and what to do step for step, I need this to be explained to me like a 3 year old
I have a server at home windows and Linux Sme7.2

I want to install the site first at home and then transfer to my websites
Who can help me with this?

Now upload all the files within MyBB:

Things to keep in mind:

* Make sure that the directory structure is kept. (ie. the files in the 'admin' directory should be uploaded to a directory called 'admin', the files in the 'archive' directory should be uploaded to a directory called 'archive', etc)
* Make sure that you upload the .php, .html, .css and any other text file in ASCII mode, and that you upload the .gif, .jpg, .png, and any other binary file in Binary mode (see your FTP software documentation)

After uploading, you can use MyCheck to see if all the files where uploaded:

If you used MyCheck to check for missing files, upload all the missing files and continue with MyCheck, after all the files exist, continue to the MyBB installer: http://yoursite.com/forumdirectory/install

Follow the steps in the installer --> http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Installing

After you're done, you can delete the install directory for a better feel of security, otherwise, MyBB should have created a lock folder to lock the installer. You can then proceed to your new forum: http://yoursite.com/forumdirectory
