when trying to register a new user i get this error:

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error: 
1054 - Unknown column 'fid4' in 'field list' 
Query: 
INSERT INTO myXrumuserfields (`fid3`,`fid1`,`fid2`,`fid4`,`ufid`) VALUES ('','','','','314')

i added that field to the database, and now the error is gone, but i would still like to find out what it is used for.... thanks!

Please deactivate or remove any plugins that aren't compatible with MyBB 1.4

i can't

when i ran the update it was too late, becuase i was not able to go back to the mybb and diactivate anything, so i had to manually remove them from the plugins directory
