When updating the avatar size in Admin panel > Users > Edit User: >user the re-sizing worked when looking in their profile. However, on the forum the Avatar is still the same size.

Not sure if this is the same problem I had but for some strange reason there is now 2 places to set avatar sizes, so here you go in case you missed it.

/Board settings/
-User Registration and Profile Options
-Show Thread Options
