I'm trying to install 1.4 for scratch because BETA 4 to Gold wasn't supported and it cant connect to localhost. I left 000webhost because of its regular malicious content check . I know all the information is correct its that mybb cant get to the database. Is there a way to manually connect it by putting in the database information into a file with out it trying to connect? Because it just wont connect!!!

I don't think there's a way to do that when installing from scratch.

Thats wots my host is saying. Ive re-entered it every time it just wont connect. The database is fine

What if i install 1.2 and upgrade?
