I am not sure if its really a bug or the way mybb functions.
When you are at the forum (at root). And when u try to access the images forum www.forum-name.com/images
it first takes you to a page which says MyBB and then it takes back to the hompage. As far as I can recall I think in mybb 1.2 just simply used to take back to the homepage and not show the redirection page which just said MyBB.
