i checked my error logs and i see this after installing mybb1.4
File does not exist: /home/nitemare/public_html/beta/admin/jscripts/config_settings.js
and i cannot find that file in hte download or on my server
PS its not a beta version, i just made a beta folder to convert my plugins

A competent host wouldn't even care about your error log. I just commented out the line that was calling the missing file. It never existed and it shouldn't exist. It's in the settings.php file around line 800.
well my host cares I told you this before
thus your host is imcompetent, as stated before
My person opinion would be that I would be taking my business somewhere else if they're going to be like that then.
I do not see that line anywhere in themes.php
