Hi,

For some reason the date and my ip address appear next to my shout. It's been working fine so far. No modification were made.



And something else:
Is it possible to set who can see the shoutbox?

MyBB version: 1.4
Shoutbox: 2.2 RC
I also use AJAX Shoutbox (1.0) by Paretje

i'm not sure about the bug

but u can set who sees the shoutbox through usergroups

The IP is only shown to Admins who have the permission 'Can Moderate Shouts' set to yes.
But if you don't want it; i think you need to edit the shoutbox_shout template and remove

title="{$shout_hover}"

But it wasn't shown before, and I didn't change any settings at all.

EDIT:
I still can't find where I can set permissions for the shoutbox.
I'm looking at Groups => Usergroups => * General * Forums and Posts * Users and Permissions * Miscellaneous
but I can't find any settings related to the shoutbox. Is it the right place?

What MyBB version ? Shoutbox version ?
