The images in the theme language are all .gif my co-admin made images in .png. Is there a way to change this somewhere in the code that the forum use the .png file's

You'll have to edit a lot of the templates to my knowledge. It's best to rename them to .gif. It works pretty well since .gif and .png's have transparency.

he has made some special buttons with effect wich are only visible in PNG wich are not visible in GIF

Search and replace is the answer if using something like Dreamweaver it should be relatively painless

which file must I edit to change this
