For example.

Say I have a user group named Support and I wanted them to moderator the help forum. But I don't want them to moderator the reset of the forums.

Also by default Registered users can delete there own threads. I don't think that is a good idea.

No one says you have to use the 'Default' Permissions.

All i can say this has been asked for so many times.... Its would be nice to have.
