Yes, it does not, and I don't think that this is required.
And with images inside it works fine.

Great plugin! Only problem I have is the following:

when this sign: ' is used in the text within the tag it shows as \'

So the word What's shows as What\'s

If not in the spoiler tags the words show as they should.
