How can I add an alert and a notice on forum homepage just like the yellow and blue line on homepage of this forum? (I mean the on on this homepage about "New Release...." which is yellow and another blue line below it.) How can we do the same on our forums?
There is a mod called Board Messages for this. You can use the custom CSS feature to change the colors.

Is there any known issue with this Beta? When will the alpha be released?
Well, first off, Alpha comes before the Beta, next comes RC (release candidate) and then Release and then Final. Second, I haven't had a single issue with it so far.

MyBB 1.4 is now out of beta.
As about "Beta" thing we were talking about that mod GG-Xtreme was refering to and not about MyBB 1.4. itself!
