It would be helpful is there was an "IP Cross checker" which could tell you about members with multiple accounts, etc. Be be automatically run at registration, to instantly stop multiple account creation if an IP match is found.
Just a thought.
I like the idea.
Also put a cookie on the person's computer everytime they registers and check if it exists when the person goes to the register page.
This is for people with dynamic IP Addresses.
Check the settings under User Registrations:
Time Between Registrations
The amount of time (in hours) to disallow registrations for users who have already registered an account under the same ip address.
Maximum Registrations Per IP Address
This option allows you to set the maximum amount of times a certain user can register within the timeframe specified above.

What happens if I want it only one registration per IP address...period..no set amount of time..one account per IP.
