SOmetimes when browsing through the admin cp, it will ask if I want to download "index.php" instead of loading it.
I don't know if it does this on the actual forums, I havn't tested it.

edit: I thought this belonged in bug reports but I guess it got moved.
That's a bug with firefox. It's happened to me while browsing some phpBB3 forums.
Google it, I bet someone's reported it as a bug.

Its fixed in Firefox 3.0.1.
I'm using FF 3.0.1.
It started hapening after the upgrade toMyBB 1.4.1
I guess it is a FF glitch. I surfed around on it with Opera and wasn't prompted.
Well i dont get that popup and i have been using fire fox since 2.0 came out. That bug got fixed in the 2.0 series.
I haven't gotten that bug since 1.x. I might just have to reinstall
I think that's a problem with your host
destroyer is right, that is a server-side problem, not a browser problem. The server didn't parse the PHP for some reason and it just sent you the file instead, since your browser can't display PHP as HTML. Why this happens, I'm not sure as this has happened to me a few times on many different sites.
