I run a roleplaying forum, so members roleplay as a variety of characters. However, they are all allowed one account (in order to keep track of everyone). This makes posting as different characters confusing.
So I was wondering if there was any way to change your display name for just specific posts. Maybe an option given when you write your actual post.
I know that's probably difficult, so as an alternative, I was wondering if there was anyway to add a field to the posting page (like above where you type the post's message) that would ask for a character name. Then, the name they put there would show up at the top of their posts.
I think this can be done with a code modification, probably one not too difficult, but I'm bad at that sort of thing.
