Is the MyBB converter just for 1.2, or can you use it on MyBB 1.4?
I think it works with 1.4 also.
Or convert to 1.2 then upgrade to 1.4
I think only a few tables changed (like subscriptions) so it may not run properly but it may work for importing most things.
I tried it, and there's WAY too many file differences that the converter won't work. I fixed most of them to let my friends try it @ my house and it still doesn't work. I'm still looking into it. I don't get it though..If user's are meant to upgrade to 1.4, wouldn't/shouldn't the converter be for 1.4?
The converter and Upgrader are two different thing.
Converter is for switching from vb,IPB, PHPBB.
If you already have MYBB1.2 Get the upgrader.
That's what that forum is all about, converting/merging other forums software to MyBB. you'd realize this had you took the time to read some of the post threads.
To answer the question. Right now it's only for 1.2. They are working to update for 1.4

The MyBB 1.2 Merge System will not work with 1.4. A much better 1.4 Merge System is on it's way.
