I just notice only tonight, the Admin CP of MyBB and IPB is almost similar and they are likely forking each other xD.
Actually all the Admin CPs are moving to a similar set up. Just like the used to all use the massively long menu on the left. Now they are doing the tabbed kind of thing. I say all because phpbb did it too.
vB has yet to follow suit. I hope they leave the option for the old (current) layout though, I like the side menu.
If you think the admincp looks the same as IPB you should have a look at kayako esupport when your login as admin.......
