Is it possible to create a forum that posts are visible only between poster and admin and NOT to other users? I don't mean granting access to post to a particular user group. any and all users can post something but the thread is private between original poster and admin. possible?
That would require a plugin or modification. Try looking for one, or request one.

There is not a mod for this. Although it's not a bad idea although it does sound like it would be a complicated mod as it would go against the permission system in place.
