I am trying to have 'Go to' page functionality in my forum.

i may make it as a proper plugin if everything works fine.
How can I have a 'Go to' box where the red box is.
I tried creating a new template (with go to text. etc.) and putting it in the showthread_multipage after {$multipage}...but this doesnt seem to work. I even tried to put it in the showthread directly but that doesnt seem to work either. I am putting the new template's name in the template list in the showthread.php....
basically I need to display 'Go to' box with different functions of course in both forum display and show thread so it would be possible to jump to a specific forum or thread.
