I have about 23 feeds from one site auto posting into my forum, but 6/23 of those time out with this message:

URL: http://~REMOVED~

There was a problem accessing the URL.
Either the server is offline, or your server has
allow_url_fopen disabled. Please see:
http://ca3.php.net/manual/en/filesystem....-url-fopen
and contact your host to resolve this issue.

My guess is the host blocks me temporally after x amount of requests.

Is there any way to add a additional timer or something so I don't get banned immediately leaving some sections unupdated?

Thanks,

Your fopen is just disabled.

Why does it work on 98% of the urls is its disabled? :s

It looks like it's just with that one site, like it needs to have a delay for just one site, or all of them (mabye of a minute or 20 seconds?)
i really doubt sites would block you for accessing their rss feeds many times, is that site popular? i subscribe from IGN feeds and i can request as many times as i want since the site is very popular and demand is high.

I think they installed it for security measures. Some work, some don't. I can view it in my Firefox though
