Now what do i do??? I installed it already.

Hi,

First of all, thanks for selecting MyBB for your forum.

Once you have it installed, you will want to add some category and forums, using the built in admin cp, which you can access by appending /admin/ to the end of your forum url.

You can add a category or forum by going to Admin CP > Forums & Posts (Tab) > Add New Forum.

You may also want to check out the range of plugins and themes available by visiting the official mods site, located at http://mods.mybboard.net

Additionally, there is a MyBB Wiki - which offers tutorials and the documentation - http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Main_Page

No I only downloaded it what do i do with the 2 folders?

In that case, you will need to upload and install it on your web host, details on how to do that can be found at:

(Please note, at the bottom there is a link to the next section of the installation guide, which carries on for a couple of pages).

So its in my ftp? Or do i have to have 2 servers? One for the forum and one for the site?

Hi,

You need to upload the "Upload" directory to your server using ftp. You do not need to have 2 servers, as the forum is placed in a folder on your server (called Uploads, which you can rename to something better - such as "forums").
