I was using 1.2.13 then i went to upgrade to 1.4.1 using the steps on this page: http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Upgra...d_later.3F

I get to step 6 of go to "Go to www.yourdomain.com/forumfolder/install/upgrade.php" i do that and the page doesnt work and nothing is coming up?

what can i do


this comes up when i go to go on the forum

Have you uploaded it to the right place??

Where 'should' it be with you?? I.e. do you have www.yoursite.com/forums ??

yer ive uploaded it to the correct place, my site is at http://www.talking-football.co.cc/index.php thats were it should be but its not

Remove the lock file and it'll be fine.

try running upgrade again.

i just understand that he got the error at the 6 step of upgrade

All he has to do is remove the lock file and go to the link I posted and it'll work.

thanks Matt your a life saver i was going to http://www.talking-football.co.cc/forumf...pgrade.php but can you help me with one more thing ive got to a screen in the install thats saying i have active pugins and to deactivate that and as i cant get into my admin cp to disable them im not sure how i can as, how do i do it, ive deleted the files form the plugin folders

You only need to go /forums/ if your files are at www.yoursite.com/forums/ ... and I think you can leave those and not have any problems, you'll just have the settings in your ACP from the old plugins.

You will probably have to revert all of your templates manually now though.
