Here's a good idea for someone to do...

How about adding in bold words on the Merge System page that it only works with 1.2, and that users interested in converting to 1.4 should run it through 1.2, then upgrade to 1.4? I know it's already in the "Performing the Merge" section, but it needs to be above the download so people can see it.

There have been a lot of threads in the support forum about it.

And maybe also providing a link to the wiki versions page on there too. As right after that question they ask where they can get 1.2 from .

I've added a message to the top of the merge system page about this that should be suitable.
