i can't seem to find this option anywhere, but im sure it exists.

My problem is after you create a new topic, it redirects the user to the forum view, which shows all the topics.

I'm used to IPB and how it redirects the usre to their newly created a topic, and i actually prefer that method. is there a way to set these options in Mybb? thanks

it seems to do this with new replies also.

It should do what you want as standard, you must have changed something.

I always get taken back to my post/thread when posting new things. Do you have any plugins/modifications?

Are you clicking the link in the redirect (i.e. "Or click here to return to the forum" or something along those lines)?
