I just would like to ask what the cookie structure is.

But, how do I change the cookie path if I cannot login to the admincp? (I changed it to a place that mybb can't read it.)

Nevermind, searching gid = 7 in phpmyadmin under settings table helped.

But I still can't stay logged in even though I changed it back via phpMyAdmin.

Is there another place where it's stored other than the settings table?

If you have problems you need to edit the inc/settings.php file...then you can login to admincp and edit settings which draws from the database but when you save it overwrites to your filesystem too. That's the easiest workaround for problems with your settings that effect login.
