i have a problem with image verification on registration form the code it can't be see by user
how can i change the color of the code? or what can I do?

Ooh I haven't seen that before.

I don't know how to fix it, but what I can suggest you do is changing the setting 'CAPTCHA Images for Registration & Posting' in 'General Configuration' to Off, so people can register without having to use the image verification, until a solution is found.

ok I turned off the captcha image
i hope I is a way to fix this problem..

Well, to start with, re-upload the following files:

./captcha.php
./jscripts/captcha.js
./inc/captcha_fonts

Then turn the image verification back on again, and see if it works.

nothing changed
still same problem

I'm sure this existed in older versions too, i'll see if i can find the fix

OK i had a quick look and in old versions if you delete the the files inside the inc/captcha_fonts folder it should fix the problem.

With these files missing the script that generates the captcha image skips the fancy fonts bit and uses a different method. I think its a bug in a certain PHP/GD version

ok I've deleted the fonts from inc/captcha_fonts and now it is more visible the verification code
