FF3 wont save templates under the assumption you've deleted the whole template code inside the editors area for example and tried to replace it with new code. The issue comes in when you've deleted the entire previous code. Let's say you leave a portion of the code in and just edit bits and pieces and save it. Under this premise it will save correctly and work fine. Even if you leave 1 number, letter or whatever there, it will still save the template. You must have deleted it all for it not to save.

Use the delete functionality?

If I highlight the area in the editor box by choosing "Select all" then "cut" or hit my backspace key it deletes everything in the editor box. Then if I immediately paste in some other code and hit submit. It will come back as not even edited.
