ver 1.2.13 - no plugins - reinstall from 1.2.9 , DB dumped and reloaded as per upgrade instructions

added new attachment type
mp3 : audio/mpeg : 6000 : images/attachtypes/html.gif

small mp3 (~50kb) uploads and works fine as attachment or as included in post.

PROBLEM
When I upload a large mp3 (2.3Mb) the upload seems to happen ok (progress bar) there is a pause and then the screen refreshes. The file is not uploaded : the browse inpit window is reset to blank : there is no error message nor any indication that the operation has failed.

I have tried this on new thread first post : edited post (full edit) and on second post in a tread ... nothing works.

oh by the way - i had the same problem on 1.2.9 which I never resolved and labrocca seems to be struggling with a similar problem recently

Maybe is a problem with your server?

if the upload takes more than 30 seconds (or X seconds configured by Host owner) it is cancelled...

I discounted this as I'm using a commercial hosting service (godaddy) but let me check it out anyway. Thanks.

OK as far as I can determine I do not have a host timeout or file limit problem

By default, PHP limits upload to 2MB. You'll probably need to modify your php.ini to increase this limit.
