CAPTCHA Images for Registration & Posting

If yes, and GD is installed, an image will be shown during registration and posting where users are required to enter the text contained within the image to continue. This helps prevent automated registrations and postings.

Before it was working fine .. but suddenly from yesterday people cant see the images ! Please help!

I disabled this option because users can not register.. So i enable it and u check after sometime!

A bit more information may be needed... can you not see the fonts?? If not, delete the folder captcha_fonts.

yes this happening in all browsers and only for guests i think who want to register!

In that case, a captcha file is missing, or the path is incorrect.

which captcha file or path u are talking about?

The captcha.php .. i re-uploaded it again. I uploaded the fonts also ! May u tell me which path u are referring?

I'd like to be able to tell you exactly which one, but the computers here at college aren't too good, and the internet connection doesn't allow me to my FTP, and it crashes when I view it in windows explorer.

What I suggest you do is look in the MyBB .zip (if you still have it), find all the captcha files, and re-upload them.

Also try clearing cookies and cache... might be worth a shot.

And are you sure your host has GD?? To check, go to ACP > Tools and Maintenance > View PHP Info > and then do search for 'gd' - find the header 'gd' and copy and paste in here the table underneath.
