I am having an issue when trying to add a link to a specified forum. The forum is suppose to become inactive and redirect to the link entered. However the forum continues to add the old url of forumdisplay and tacks the new one on the end,sending it to a 404 page. This also occurs at the subforum level.

When adding a link it is to redirect to that page/site that it is linked to. It makes the forum unusable when you click on it from the forum index page, (which is normal). However it is retaining the old link value as well as adding the new link value causing it to go 404. The old link value is to be replaced by the new value and it is not doing that. This also happens in the sub forum levels.
Example
Main Forum directs to
www *** com/forumdisplay.php?fid=2 If you add the url redirect to say www bob com and it directs to
www *** com/forumdisplay.php?fid=2www bob com
It should just be directing to www bob com and not the forum link as well.
I have tried the link feature on a couple mybb installs and they all do the same.
I was sure I posted this in Bug reports.... It seems it has been moved to general support.
Could this please be moved back to bugs?
You missed the "http://" at the beginning of your redirect URL. It's not a bug, hence the move back to the support forum.
