Hi iv installed updated all the files asked in the correct way.

And the forum is fine and works well everything seems intact..

apart from a rather strange glitch were on some settings areas

im getting double command boxes.

any ideas on how to fix or what i did wrong?

You did nothing wrong a lot of users experenced that issue even i on my shared forum, i'm not sure excatly how to fix it

ahh kk.. maybe we will get a explanation soon into it.. or a new patch. thx anyway

well you might have been done something wrong during file upload process.........

Can you please search for answers!! I said how to fix this about 3 times yesterday.

Just delete the duplicate settings in your ACP.

No, you don't need to edit the database tables!! You can do it in your ACP!!
