Is this error solved?
when I want to upgrade from 1.2.6 to 1.4.0 I have this error:
Fatal error: [SQL] [1054] Unknown column 'oldadditionalgroups' in 'mybb_banned'
ALTER TABLE mybb_banned CHANGE oldadditionalgroups oldadditionalgroups TEXT NOT NULL in /home/salehfor/public_html/inc/db_mysql.php on line 544
Why would that have any effect?? The upgrader should upgrade from any version to the current one.

1.2.6 is quite old...
I'd suggest doing what NoRules suggests, but it's bewildering why you'd be running a version of myBB that old...
If you revert to backups, first check your mySQL tables and see if this field exists - if not, then upgrade to 1.2.14 first...
Actually I think 1.2.6 to 1.4.0, and then 1.4.0 to 1.4.2 has been suggested too.
And yeah, howcome you didn't update sooner?? You would have been very open to attacks.
salehforum, please select 1.2.2 from the upgrade script. It seems you skipped the upgrade procedure when updating from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2
Don't ask for support if you don't want it. That is the solution, and if you don't want the solution then I'll be happy to close this thread...
