How can I edit my forum where it becomes my index page instead of /forum?
Also I don't want to lose anything from my forum like posts and plugins etc.
So you want it to be youriste.com/index.php rather than yoursite.com/forum/index.php??
Edit the path to your forums and images etc in your ACP to reflect the new path you want (i.e. remove the /forum/), and change your cookie settings to what the new ones will be. Then in your FTP, move all the files to the new place and it should all work out.
so i won't like lose any of the posts or plugins in my forums?
Plugins are the files so they'll be fine... and as long as config.php isn't edited the posts etc will be fine.
Make a full backup just on the off chance something goes wrong.
Please describe what you want in more detail, what steps you've tried in solving the problem, and any error messages that have come up.
