install myBB to pc
hii, i would like to make forum.. but the server is my own PC.. any one know how to do this?? i have SQL sevrer all install also, and what else do i need?
can any one guild me throe this?
You need a web server software (e.g. Apache), PHP, MySQL. See

The easiest way to get all of this setup is by installing a package such as XAMPP:

Then you can use phpMyAdmin (XAMPP comes with this) to create a database for your forum, then just follow the same installation instructions

I´m using xampplite here, there is no need to install any service in windows...
just run the file "x:\xampplite\xampp_start.exe" and Apache + mysql servers will be working
but this is for Windows only, Linux and OS2 dont have this "lite" version I think

you can also do this ..
download easyphp software and mysql server .. and copy upload fine in easyphp www folder you will be good to go ..
