I'll try Gimp soon.
I still like Fireworks because it's what I know how to use.
I have Photoshop, tried GIMP a loooong time ago it was very confusing.

Both programs have a pretty steep learning curve...
Ya but Photoshop is all one spot. The default layout will show just about everything most people will need. While with the Gimp has multiple windows and you have to look around/search to find a lot of things.
I actually find GIMP more straight forward than Photoshop. Photoshop's features are all scattered all over the plain.
Where is the equivilent to layer blending options in gimp? I can't seem to find it.
I do everything I use in Fireworks. Been a fan since 2.0. I run GIMP too. Nothing worse than having to work in Photoshop.

The GIMP is not bad

...but I don't like GTK Sad
I like the custom plugins people make for GIMP, not all of them, but alot of them. Toungue
