I have a user that signed up for a new account. I have accounts set to instant activation. It worked great until he logged out.

When he tries to log back in the "You have logged in successfully page appears for a half second and redirects him back as a guest.

I made him an admin and he can log into admin cp with no problems, then goes to the forums as a user and he is still a guest.

I logged in using his password and it works fine. Had him drop his IE security to All Cookies on, and nothing. Adjusted his time, and nothing. He logged on from his other computer at his house, no dice.

Any ideas?Undecided
Make sure your cookie settings are correctly set in the Admin CP settings. [Wiki: Cookies] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)
If cookies are wrong, why can I log in correctly with his user/pass and he not? Why does admin cp work perfect for him but not the forums?

I deleted him as a user and tried creating a user myself and he still couldn't log in

The board is set to instant activation
The way your cookies are set up won't allow users to login from http://resonantsolution.com/mybb/ (note there is no www.)

Is that the URL he was trying to login from?
Might be. I'll work it from there and get back at you Smile
You can make your cookie domain: .resonantsolution.com
(remove the www)

That would allow logins from both www.resonantsolution.com/mybb and http://resonantsolution.com/mybb
Ok that fixed it. Thanks!!
