I know it's probably a change in the language file but I can't seem to find it.

What I'm referring to is the word "posts" in the user postbit.

So for example I want to make this:

Username
Posts: 23

Into this:

Username
Messages: 23

I looked in the language settings in the ACP but I can't find one for that either

For now, in the postbit_author_user template, find {$lang->postbit_posts}, and change it to 'Messages:'.

I'll try and find a proper fix for you - when one is found that above can be reverted, it's just a temporary thing.

I'll bet you it's in global.lang.php.

So it is About half way down.
