right i have a very annoying issue with the avatar setting.
- Ive chmodded all needed files/folders
- I Can upload avatars & the avatar will show in the users profile
- I can use a URL avatar & it shows in the users profile
BUT..........
The avatars do not appear in ANY of the posts!
How can this be fixed?
P.S. im using version 1.4.1
In your UCP, click Edit Options, and under 'Thread View Options', make sure you've ticked 'Display users' avatars in their posts'.
yes, that is clicked by default, but the avatars do NOT appear
Is this just for you or all members??
Are you using a custom theme?
@matt, its a new forum & theres only me & another admin. both avatars dont show up.

i have just upgraded to 1.4.2
I have also made the default theme the current one.
Yet STILL avatars are not showing!
Do the avatars show up for users in the ACP?
as ive already said, there are currently 2 users & they both appear in their profiles, but NOT on posts

And what's in your 'postbit_avatar' template??

Display users' avatars in their posts

this is whats in my postbit_avatar template:

Any ideas?
ive just gone into postbit template & the width was showing "0"
i changed that to 100
theres a plain white box where the avatar should be, but nothing!
All needed folders have the correct chmod
Ive also tried the default theme, still nothing.
Something ive noticed, i dont know if its a bug or what.
When im posting, it gives me the option for including my signature, but NOTHING is there about my avatar.
This is weird as a friend of mine had version 1.2, when they upgraded ALL the members avatars was there - even when posting after the upgrade!
so why does a fresh install of 1.4 do this?
is it a bug?
