So instead I renamed index.php to forums.php and gave portal.php the name of index.php.
Then added a link to the forums on the toplinks.

MKportal.
Its normal layout is kinda.....Messy, but if you theme it to go with your forum theme, then it looks nice.
It also has a lot of options that you wouldn't normally get with MyBB.

-And a lot more!
There is a small plugin to make it work with 1.4, but IMO it's way too risky!

This certain support forum might not have it active.
And it might be a plugin, its best you search for it.

Reputation and the karma are the same kind of idea to me. But if there is a difference let me know.
As there is a Reputation system built in it's just disabled on these forums because of abuse.
