I have seen this on one or two sites, and thoguht it would be good for mine! But don't know how to do it, do I need a plugin for it, or is there coding needed. Can anyone help?

Bear in mind that myBB uses Prototype, so you can essentially easily add any sort of Proto script... there's 100s of tutorials for things like this around the net for better side menus... google is a friend
