Hi. I need to add a new copyright with the guy who made my header. I tried to edit the footer template but its not working.

Ensure you are at the right theme, templates.
Yeah... I wasn't sure if it wasn't showing because it was in the wrong template set, or the code was wrong.
The code should be something like this:
Header created by <a href="http://community.mybboard.net/user-13556.html"><strong>Matt_</strong></a> of the <a href="http://community.mybboard.net/>MyBB Community Forums</a>.
That would show as this:

I tried that but the copyright doesn't appear. I don't know where to add that code :|
Are you editing the correct template in the correct theme? Each theme can use a different template.

The footer template for the theme you are using.
