Just installed the board at http://www.SebagoSailors.org/forum - this will be used as a reunion board for old Coast Guard shipmates. I want to give a special User Title for the guys that first sign up (Plank Owner) - I've got the new title added through the Admin CP - BUT, I don't see that MyBB allows me to assign this special title to individual users.

Is there a way to do this?

In the user group settings, you can make it so that they can't change their user title, and you can also specify a default user title for that group.

You probably want to edit their profile and add the custom usertitle directly into their account.
