I just installed MyBB at http://www.SebagoSailors.org - It works okay and the first new users have signed up, viewed my first post as Administrator - and one has even replied to that post.

BUT.... every time I attempt to reply to his post I'm asked to sign in and then it tells me I can't post.... Does the Admin have to respond to a registration message? The system didn't send one to me when I created the board. What have I done wrong?

Like the software so far... thanks to all that have put effort into this!

It's most likely that you have a cookie setting wrong. What's the url to your forum and the current cookie settings in admincp?
Na the admin doesn't have to respond to anything.

Do you get a no permissions page or get logged out completely??

You are either not logged in or do not have permission to view this page. This could be because one of the following reasons:
You are not logged in or registered. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to login.
You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.
Your account may have been disabled by an administrator, or it may be awaiting account activation.

I can login in repeatedly and still it takes me to this page... frustrating... I've even tried in three browsers and get the same each time.
Don't ignore my posts please. I am well versed with mybb.

Again...
