I'm far too new here to begin to say what should or should not be a default feature vs a plugin. Just suggesting a feature that I and others use in VB. I respect the dev team has a lot on their plate and may or may not choose to do this.
Well I agree that I shouldn't knock it till I try it. Who knows, maybe it will be included one way or another.
I'd like a plugin that shows a modified versions of showthread.php by default.
Shows me the first post of the thread.
Shows me all the new posts in the thread. (paginated if required, first post always shows at the top)
Have a "link" to the full thread (the regular showthread.php)
Though I use the "normal" order too, I think this reversed feature should be included in mybb. We could argue about whether it is logical or not but there are people who like it the other way around.
