08-03-2008

date unreadable

-------
More on that topic:
http://community.mybboard.net/index.php
12/10/2008 (here from context it must be DD/MM/YYYY)

http://community.mybboard.net/memberlist.php
05-08-2004 (from context: MM-DD-YYYY)

http://community.mybboard.net/calendar-1...day-2.html
Birthdays on 10-02-2008 (context MM-DD-YYYY)

Suggestion: use international standard Y-m-d

2008-10-12
2004-05-08

Then the dates are also clear if seen standalone no one has to guess from context. Consider making it the default for the english users, because in english date formats can be very different. Best harmony reached with standard ISO format.

Example of ISO usage: http://forum.kde.org
but the site shows non standard datetime in some instances. Comma is not standard: "2008-10-16, 17:03"

On the same page "2008-10-14 19:41" is standard.

--> Seems the MyBB software generated dates are shown in two different formats. Consider avoiding this.
